Managing Your Finances With The Richest Man In Babylon | Daily Jim 42

It's a real shame how many people have never been taught how to manage and, more importantly, grow their wealth.

I was fortunate enough to:

  • Have parents that taught me the value of living within my means and setting aside money for the future.
  • Read Rich Dad, Poor Dad right around the time I graduated college, which taught me the value of having money work for you.

It was my give-away book in terms of managing personal finances for a long time, but since this morning that honour now belongs to: The Richest Man In Babylon.

It's almost a decade old, but the lessons are timeless, it's only 100ish pages and written as a series of short stories. Very entertaining.

This should be a mandatory read at any school...

...especially when you consider that the Kindle and Audible version are free.
